Corptax Wins STAR Award for Excellence in Support from Technology Services Industry Association

Tax software leader’s multifaceted customer support program earns national honors

(DEERFIELD, IL) May 9, 2011 – Corptax, the leading provider of corporate tax software, has won the Spring 2011 Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA) STAR Award for Small Company Excellence in Support. The award was announced May 4 at the Technology Services World conference in Santa Clara, California.

The STAR Awards recognize organizations that display exceptional leadership, innovation and commitment in the major disciplines of technology services. The 12 STAR Award winners for Spring 2011 include Cisco Systems, Symantec, VMWare, Philips Healthcare and EMC.

Corptax consistently achieved customer service levels that outpace industry benchmarks. Over the past 12 months, Corptax outperformed every one of the customer experience industry performance metrics set forth by the TSIA in areas including customer retention, customer satisfaction, resolution at first contact, resolution within 24 hours, increase in agent productivity and reduction in total support costs.

In addition to performance metrics, the TSIA outlined the top 10 attributes of highly effective customer service and technical support in a 2010 presentation. In its nomination for this STAR Award, Corptax noted it possesses all these attributes, which include:
